		<description>I was fortunate the my mother was able to relate to us her experience spending her teens in camp. Because she was willing to talk about it, I understood why my grandparents were reluctant to discuss the matter. Shikata ga nai was the standard response, &quot;It couldn&#039;t be helped&quot;.I&#039;m a Sansei. I&#039;m not sure the Yonsei even know that this is a part of their heritage, thaat the government left them as well as myself a legacy of barbed wire</description>
