Independence Chamber of Commerce To Host Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage Reception

INDEPENDENCE, CA — The Independence Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their annual Manzanar Pilgrimage Reception on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Eastern California Museum in Independence, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM PDT.

For several years now, the Independence Chamber of Commerce has invited the public to join them for a reception where old and new supporters of the Manzanar National Historic Site can get together prior to the annual Manzanar Pilgrimage, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2009, starting at noon at the Manzanar National Historic Site.

The reception is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Eastern California Museum. The museum is located at 155 North Grant Street In Independence.
