The Manzanar National Historic Site has released a flyer detailing all the events surrounding the 40th Manzanar Pilgrimage and the Manzanar At Dusk programs, sponsored by the Los Angeles-based Manzanar Committee.
The 40th Manzanar Pilgrimage is scheduled for 12:00 PM PDT on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Manzanar National Historic Site, located on US Highway 395 in California’s Owens Valley, between the towns of Lone Pine and Independence, approximately 230 miles north of Los Angeles.
Manzanar At Dusk begins at 5:00 PM and will be held at Lone Pine High School.
