MANZANAR NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, NEAR INDEPENDENCE, CA — Join Manzanar National Historic Site volunteer and author Hank Umemoto to appreciate history in a whole new light!

Hank’s amazing, and often amusing, adventures have taken him from Florin, California, where he was born in 1928, to Manzanar, Skid Row, and Korea, with the Military Intelligence Service. After college, careers, and a family, Hank, who is a regular volunteer at Manzanar National Historic Site, climbed Mount Whitney at age 71, and he still hasn’t slowed down!

Don’t miss Hank’s return to Manzanar December 21-23, and December 28-30, at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM, to share his unforgettable stories and sign copies of his new autobiography.
