The 1993 Manzanar Pilgrimage took place one year after Manzanar became a National Historic Site.
The 2008 Pilgrimage featured UCLA Kyodo Taiko, remarks by Consul General of Japan (San Francisco) Yasumasa Nagamine, presentation of the first Sue Kunitomi Embrey Legacy Award to Tak Yamamoto, and a keynote address by Ron Wakabayashi, Regional Director, United States Department of Justice, Community Relations Service. Also included are scenes from the traditional interfaith service and ondo dancing.
The 2009 Manzanar At Dusk video includes the opening panel of speakers (former incarcerees Joyce Okazaki, and Wilbur Sato, along with draft resister Susumu Yenokida). Also included are highlights from the open mic/wrap-up session.
